Tina has been teaching her dance-based fitness program for over 30 years--way before it became mainstream. Her unique workout includes dance moves that you can actually use, while you burn calories and have fun doing it. DanceBeat routines are creative, fun, and based on ballet, jazz, Latin, Ballroom, Afro-Cuban, and other dance techniques that will improve your coordination and posture. The class can be designed for the non-dancer to the advanced. It's for both men and women.

          "Old-school is new school"

Tina designed a dance fitness course in the early '80s, while teaching at NIU. At that time, she refused to teach high-impact aerobics, refused to follow Jane Fonda, and created a stretching and dance program that toned and improved cardiovascular fitness without injuring the knees. Over the next several years, she sat back and watched everyone go through all the fads, dropping the high impact exercises, and going full circle to "old school" workouts.
